As an independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit organization,the
Kurdish House mission is to bring all the Kurds living in
Toronto and GTA, regardless of their origin, under a roof to:


• Play their social, cultural and educational role, peacefully, as a
member of the great Canadian modern and multicultural society

• Promote and cultivate co-operation, understanding, and a spirit of
fraternal regard and friendly relations among its members

• Encourage a healthy, respectful and friendly relationship and
cooperation with other organizations or community groups on the
basis of mutual understanding and democracy

• Facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences between its members

• Promote and foster programs and services to the common good of its members

• Participate in, or support projects, seminars or research programs which, could improve the quality of life of the Kurdish community or increase its social knowledge

• Facilitate a permanent place in Toronto or GTA area, as a center, in which all the members could get together to practice in its activities

• Promote Kurdish language and culture by establishing an evening/weekend training center through its members

• Create different committees to fulfill diverse needs of the Kurdish House members, i.e. Youth groups, Women’s activities.

• Sustain a website and a media group to update the Kurdish community about the day-to-day events, news and/or useful information
